How do I set it up so customers can pay online without my assistance, and is there a fee for this process?

You'll have to set up a QuickBooks Payments so your customer can pay online, mwagner17. I'm here to guide you through the process.

 

You can set up QuickBooks Payments within your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account to accept online payments from customers. This allows you to receive funds through PayPal, Venmo, credit cards, or bank transfers (ACH). Please note that there is a fee for each transaction, which varies depending on the payment method used.

 

You can sign up for the service by following these steps:

 

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Click the Gear icon then Select Account and settings.
  3. Select Payments, then click Learn more in the QuickBooks Payment section.
  4. Click Set up Payments.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the steps.
