Possibly, there's a user who previously entered the name after the invoice number. QuickBooks has a sticky settings that will remember the previous information used and will continue to use this information unless a user change it. To verify, we can check the Audit log.

To resolve this, I suggest removing the name manually once more. If the issue persist, we can follow the basic troubleshooting steps to do Clear cache and cookies. This will help determine whether the problem is related to a cache -related issue. You can activate this mode using the following shortcuts:

• Safari: Control + Option + P
• Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
• Firefox or Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
