Customer name displays internal name and public name on invoices

Why is the "internal" customer name showing up in the address block on invoices?

 

ALSO, why does the "internal" vendor name appear on checks along with the public name?

 

My customers and vendors don't need to know how they are recorded in the customer/vendor database on QB online...

I'll share some insights on how QuickBooks handles the display of your name on your invoices, HHC-WDP.

 

When creating an invoice in QuickBooks, the customer's name will be automatically filled in both the 'Bill To' and 'Ship To' address sections.
