Customize client profile

We have clients that need estimates to go to one department, and invoices to go to another department.  

how can I customize a customer profile to allow for invoices to go to one email address and for estimates go to a different email address?

The option to customize the customer's profile which would allow estimates and invoices to be sent to different email addresses is unavailable in the program. For now, you can only set an email address to their profile which can be used when sending sales transactions. 

 

If you need to send estimates and invoices to different email addresses, I'd suggest manually editing each email info before sending the transactions to your clients. You can do this when sending the estimate and invoices (converted estimate). 

 

I can see how this option will help you when sending your sales to your clients. Thus, I'll take note of this to improve your experience in QuickBooks Online.

 

Moreover, you can send your suggestions to our developers. They can review them and most likely include them in our future updates. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Settings and click Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then, select Next to submit feedback.
