Customize Invoice for Multiple Discounts

Hi Everyone,

 

I would like to ask if there is a way I can do customization for how the discount is calculated on the Invoice.

So I need to add a columns for the different type of discount after each Product, instead of at the moment the discount is a subtotal of all on the row. I tried playing around with this but cant figure our how.

 

Or does QuickBook provide a service to customize invoice template beyond what is the common one?

Please know that customizing invoices to add columns for the different types of discounts after each product is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop. Hence, I recommend sending feedback directly to our product development team. They might incorporate your ideas after weighing down their advantages in improving customer experience.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Head to Help from the top menu.
  2. Choose Send Feedback Online, then click Product Suggestion.
  3. Enter your insights when the pop-up window appears.
  4. Select the Send Feedback button.

 

In the meantime, you can create a discount item to apply a discount for multiple items on invoices. To ensure the discount applies to the correct amount, add a subtotal item on the form right before the discount item.
