Customizing Customer Statements

I am trying to customize my customer statements. In desktop I could add a note that would show at the bottom of the statement. Every time I go to the settings it disappears and I can't get into the statements editing. These are the instructions I have been following.

Customize your statements

There are a few customization options for statements:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Account and settings.
  2. Select the Sales tab and go to the Statements section.
  3. Select Edit ✎.
  4. Select List each transaction as a single line or List each transaction including all detail lines.
  5. Select the Show aging table at bottom of statement option.
  6. Select Save and Done.

Hello there, @T and T

I appreciate you sharing the steps you followed in customizing the statements. I've got some information to share about this issue.

The investigation into the disappearance of the statement settings while modifying or accessing it in the sales option is currently in progress. Rest assured that our product engineers are working actively to investigate this issue. For now, we can't provide a specific timeframe for when a resolution will be available.

In the meantime, I recommend contacting our Support team to add you to the list of affected users. An email notification will be sent to you once a solution is available. Here are the steps to contact us:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to Help (?), then select the Search tab.
  3. Click Contact Us.
  4. Select the topic to connect with the right expert, or choose Ask about something else and provide a brief discussion of your concern.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.

In addition, once you receive the payments from your customer, you can record them in QuickBooks Online to match them with the existing invoice in your account and mark them as paid.

Also, you can run a Transaction List by Customer report to view all the transactions made and track their payment status easily.
