Customizing Expense Widget

The expense widget is useful, but due to the nature of my business I would like to exclude one expense from it. This is not from reports in general, but the widget itself, as that expense is disproportionate to others and so muddies its utility. Is there a way to set it to ignore one category, without categorizing the expense itself? Thanks!

You've come to the right place for assistance. I'm happy to point you in the right direction regarding customizing widgets in QuickBooks Online.

While there are many ways to customize the look and feel of your dashboard, there isn't currently a way to ignore one category within the widget. In this instance I recommend submitting feedback to the Product Development Team. This can be done directly through your QuickBooks Online account by clicking the Gear icon in the top right corner, then select Feedback. This is the best way to make your requests known as many product updates and feature releases come directly from great user suggestions like yours.

Once you've submitted feedback, keep an eye out on the Firm of the Future site for info about up and coming platform changes.

Please don't hesitate to reach back out if you have any other questions. I'll be here to help in any way that I can.
