Deleted a deposit in error how do i undo this?

Typically when you delete a deposit, the funds go back to undeposited funds, check make deposits and redo it.  There is no undo in QB

Hi there, @Cheri67. I'd be glad to assist you with reverting the deposit deleted by mistake. 

If you recorded the deposit manually, you'll have to recreate it. If it's made up of payments from the Undeposited Funds, this will be returned to this account.

If you need information about the deposit, you can review the Audit Log for more details. Here's how:

1. Select the Gear icon.
2. Click Audit Log.
3. Under Events, you will see Deleted Deposit for the item.
4. Select View, under History, for the deposit. 
5. From here, you can review the details of the transaction.

Moreover, if this deposit came from your bank feeds, it will return to the For Review tab. You can add or match it again.

1. Select Banking on the left navigation menu.
2. Locate the deleted deposit under the For Review tab.
3. Select Add/Match.

Once done, you can run the Deposit Detail report to show all your completed bank deposits in a specific period.

1. Go to the Reports menu.
2. Scroll down to the Sales and customers section.
3. Select the Deposit Detail report.
