    Hi there, NameUser.

Let me guide you on changing your business name and removing duplicate companies.

With QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can rename the company you recently created for your desired precision. You can do that by following the steps below:

    1. Go to the Gear icon.
    2. Select Account and Settings.
    3. Under the Company section, click on the pencil icon to edit.
    4. Enter the name of your organization in the Company name.
    5. Hit on Save, then Done.

On the other hand, the option to delete a duplicate company in QBO is unavailable. Instead, you can cancel your subscription, which you'll only have view-only access to your data for a year.

Here's how you can withdraw your subscription that has been purchased directly from Intuit:

    1. Sign in to the Intuit Account Manager.
    2. Select Products & billing, then choose your company name.
    3. Look for the product you wish to cancel, then select Cancel subscription.
    4. Fill out the multiple-choice survey, then click Continue to cancel.
    5. You'll be prompted to the product detail page and click Continue to cancel.
    6. On the pop-up confirming the cancelation, select Got it.

Otherwise, please refer to this material for further information on revoking your subscription: Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription or trial

You might consider securing a copy of your data by exporting and saving it to your local hard drive before canceling your account.

Moreover, I'm adding this resource to guide you in managing your QBO subscription: Manage billing, payment, and subscription info in QuickBooks Online.

Inform me in the thread if you have additional questions about updating your business information and dealing with duplicate companies in QBO. We're always here to help.
