Deposit Import Error

I have QuickBooks Desktop 2016.

I have bought Saasnet Desktop version to import and export my transactions.

I have a September backup and a December backup file. My accountant has done alot of backdated entries in October and November, which are hitting the periods to September. I am now restored the September backup, export all transactions and lists from the month of October and November via saasnet. And started importing them one by one via saasnet as well. I have been successful in importing most of the GL transactions types except 'Deposits'.

I am getting the following error on Deposits:

"There is an invalid reference to QuickBooks Account "670000-1029377429" in the Deposit line.. QuickBooks error message: Only QuickBooks can make deposits from Undeposited Funds."

I can see, when I imported the Journal entries that there is a deposit in my undeposited but its not being cleared to my bank account has I can't import the Deposit file due to the above error. Any solution to this please?

Use the trial version of TP Importer to isolate problem. Did you encounter the same problem?

Hello there, @asid.

I understand your need to import and export your transactions in QuickBooks. I'd be glad to assist you with this.

It appears that the issue may be related to the way Saasnet is handling the deposit import process. To resolve this, I recommend checking the mapping and settings within Saasnet to ensure that the deposits are being imported correctly. Additionally, you may need to review the format of the deposit file being imported to ensure it aligns with QuickBooks' requirements.

If the problem persists, we can make use of the verify and rebuild tools to identify and resolve the most common issues in a company file.

Vefiry data

  1. Go to Window then select Close All.
  2. Go to File, then select Utilities.
  3. Select Verify Data.

Rebuild data:

  1. Go to FileUtilities, and then select Rebuild Data.
  2. QuickBooks will ask you to make a backup before it rebuilds your company file. Select OK. A backup is required before you can rebuild.
  3. Select where you want to save your backup, then OK. Don’t replace another backup file. Enter a new name in the File name and select Save.
  4. Select OK when you get the message Rebuild has completed.
  5. Go to File, select Utilities, then select Verify Data again to check for additional damage.

I'm including this link to assist with managing and processing the payments you handle through QuickBooks Payments: Automatically record QuickBooks Payments bank deposits in QuickBooks Desktop.

Keep me in the loop if you have further queries about importing and exporting deposits in QBDT. I'll be around to help you all the way.

Unfortunately the solution you have mentioned doesn't work. As there is no problem with the file itself. And there is nothing to rebuild here. I am having trouble importing the deposits file. I tried with Transaction Pro as well and giving me the same error that it might be a limitation with QBs or perhaps a setting issue that needs to be tweaked?
