Desktop Bill Pay feature

I use QB Desktop to track cashflows and account balances.  Many of the transactions are already established as automatic draws from my accounts or cash payments.  I don't need the bill pay feature.  How do I turn it off in QB Desktop?

Paying bills in QuickBooks is either done through your financial institution, or through Melio. You'll need to identify which service you're paying bills through, then get in touch with them to discuss how you can go about cancelling the online payment services you have through them.

If you're using Bill Pay powered by Melio, they can be reached while within Bill Pay.

Here's how:

  1. While in Bill Pay, click Need Help? on your header.
  2. Select Send us a message in the chat dialogue that opens.

Be sure to check their support hours so you'll know when agents are available.

I've also included a couple detailed resources about working with Bill Pay which may come in handy moving forward:

Please feel welcome to send a reply if there's any additional questions. Have a lovely Wednesday!
