Please know Intuit no longer offers a one-time license for the QuickBooks Desktop version that works or is valid for three years. We are now offering QBDT 2024 which is subscription-based that is an annual subscription that must be renewed every year to maintain access to your software.

However, if you prefer a standalone license, you'll have to buy it through a retailer. You'll need to contact your local computer software retailers or authorized resellers and inquire if they have any remaining stocks. They'll be able to help you in searching for a one-time license. You can also check out online marketplaces like Amazon or eBay, or visit online forums where users buy and sell software licenses. 

On the other hand, yes, the 2024 version has online banking capability. The Bank Feed feature in QBDT accounting software offers similar capabilities to the previous or other versions, including matching transactions, creating bank rules, and reconciling statements.

Furthermore, we don't have any updated details about the 2024 Desktop's discontinuation in the near future  since the newest QBDT keeps working efficiently for some business owners.

If you don't need to run any add-ons after May 2024 (e.g QB Payment, QB Payroll), you don't have to upgrade to QB Desktop 2024. But if the bank feed feature is critical for your business, upgrading to QB Desktop  2024 Pro Plus or Premier Plus is another option. You will have to pay the renewal fee every year to keep your license active until 2027.
