Differences between QuickBooks enterprise desktop and QuickBooks plus online?

Below is a link to a wonderful comparison tool created by @hectorgarciacpa that compares all versions of QB Desktop and Online.  There are significant differences between QBO Plus (Column F) and Enterprise (Column H), especially when it comes to inventory.  QB Online Plus has a very small fraction of functionality when it comes to inventory management compared to Enterprise so, hopefully, that wasn't a big part of why you used Enterprise.

You will find many data types that are not converted to QB Online (e.g estimates, attachments). You can use the trial version of QB Desktop to access your historical data for good if needed.
