direct deposit/alternative accounting software

First off, to set up the direct deposit, you'll need to gather these following information.

• Business name, address, and EIN
• Principal officer’s Social Security number, birth date, and home address
• Online bank credentials, or your company’s bank routing and account numbers
• Employees’ or contractors’ bank account info 

 
If you already have these things, ensure that you run QuickBooks as admin, and then you are logged in as admin in payroll and you are the primary principal.

Please note that the test debits will show up within two banking days from the time you activate Direct Deposit. There are two less than a dollar amount that need to be entered in QuickBooks to complete the activation process.

Follow these steps on how to enter once you see it on your bank statement:

1. Go to Employees menu, select My Payroll Service, and then click Account/Billing Information.
2. Sign in using your Intuit Account login.
3. Proceed to the Payroll Info section, then click the Verify link under Direct Deposit Bank Account.
