Do I 1099 a porta potty company?

Good afternoon,

If I pay a porta potty company to have one of their cans on my job site, do I 1099 them also?

From my experience, paying rent for something would require a 1099 misc to be sent, given they are a sole proprietor, a partnership, or an LLC acting as a partnership. The annual amount paid for the shtter should also be above $600 for the tax year. If they are a C or S corp, or under $600, don't bother sending. Hope that helps.

    Very helpful, thank you! I will 1099-MISC them since they are an LLC acting as a partnership.
