Question

Do individual user accounts save check alignment settings? For some reason when I print from one computer vs another the check alignment is different.

I see you're having some challenges with check alignment when you print on another computer, Fred. Let me impart insight that could help you get through this.

I'd like to know if you are using Intuit-supported checks. If not, it could cause some difficulties in printing alignment.

Technically, it should follow the default or set alignment of your check. Since it's different when you print from another computer, I recommend contacting our support team. They have additional tools to pull up your account and investigate this further. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. Click Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.

In addition, feel free to check out this article about print settings for printing checks: Configure your print settings for printing checks in QuickBooks Online.

Please feel free to leave a reply if you have any further questions about the check alignment or any QuickBooks-related concerns. We're available to assist you 24/7.
