Do you mail 1099 forms before the IRS accepts them?

Welcome to the Community space, @info1990. We'll share information about when 1099 forms will be mailed to your vendors inside QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Know that your 1099s should be with the IRS before your contractors can receive their copies. But as long as you e-filed your 1099s on January 28 before 5:00 PM Pacific Time, it'll be processed and postmarked to your contractors by the end of January.
