I PREPARED AND SUBMITTED 4 1099 NEC FORMS FOR 2 DIFFERENT COMPANIES AND WHEN I CHECK THE VIEW SUMMANY ALL PAYMENTS AS RECORDED JUST IN ONE COMPANY, IS THAT CORRECT?

When you prepare and submit 1099-NEC forms for multiple companies in QuickBooks Online (QBO), the view summary shows all payments recorded under just one company. 

 

This is normal, as the view summary is a combined overview of all payments made, but the actual 1099-NEC forms are recorded and submitted separately for each company. Therefore, it is correct for the view summary to display payments from multiple companies under one view, as long as the 1099-NEC forms for each company have been prepared and submitted accurately.
