Quickbooks is suppose to send a 1099-K every year and I believe they walked me through finding it on-line and printing it, but I have been unable to find it again this year.

Hi, @cgotcher. I can help you generate a 1099-K form in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Before doing so, allow me to provide a few information about it.

You'll receive Form 1099-K for tax year 2023 (taxes you’ll file in 2024) if the total amount of reportable payments exceeds $20,000 and the number of transactions exceeds 200. Moreover, the IRS now plans to use the 2024 tax year (taxes you’ll file in 2025) as a transition year with a threshold of $5,000.

To generate a 1099-K form, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. Choose Download Form 1099-K from the Activity & Reports menu.
  3. Click Download.
