Does anyone what is the details of QuickBooks for the requirement from CA for Agency?
We are setting up Tax Id in CA and we need the information from QuickBooks, since they are our agency (since QB is the one remitting the taxes).
QB is not a third party "agency" in your payroll and you have to get your own tax ID. QB can (if your subscription includes it) remit your taxes (and forms) FOR YOU. You are not paying QB a bulk payroll charge after the pay run. Your paychecks are paid from your checking account, even if passing through QB as Direct Deposit. Your employees are still your employees. QB is not signing your forms as a paid third party - or if they do it is nothing that you would set up.
