You may need to install the trial version for QB Desktop 2015, 2019 and 2021 to upgrade their file gradually and convert it to QB Online. Contact me in private and we share can the trial codes.

You've come to the right place, @ccrob81.

Let's me ensure you'll be able to migrate all of your data successfully to QuickBooks Online version.

You'll require the most recent version of QuickBooks Desktop before you can move your data. You can download a trial of QBDT. After, create a backup copy of your company file from QuickBooks 2011. Then restore it to the trial account. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the File menu and select Open or Restore Company.
  2. Chose Restore a backup copy and then Next.
  3. Click Local backup and then Next.
  4. Select a folder then Open.
  5. Hit Save.

Once done, we can now migrate your QBDT file to QBO. This article contains complete steps and a video tutorial to ensure data will be transferred successfully.

I'm also adding this link that you can use to get started and familiarize QBO after you sign up. This helps manage your company, sig-in details, users and more.
