Question

Does the GoPayment app or GoPayment EMV black round card reader work on a Windows 11 PC? If so, how do you install them? My PC has bluetooth.

It's nice to see you here in the Community, @Bensonix.

Let me clarify some information about GoPayment and the GoPayment EMV black card reader for use on a Windows 11 PC.

To begin with, the GoPayment app can only be used or downloaded on your mobile device. To install the GoPayment app, you can simply go to the Google Play Store and search QuickBooks GoPayment to install it.

If you've got the card reader and downloaded the GoPayment app on your device, check this article on how to set it up and use it to process payments: Set up a card reader for QuickBooks GoPayment

On the other hand, the GoPayment EMV black card reader is intended for use on mobile devices and is not compatible with PCs. To process payments using the GoPayment, you'll have to sign up or connect an existing QuickBooks Payments account and order a card reader for QuickBooks GoPayment. For more detailed information, you can check this article: Process payments in the GoPayment app

If you've got the card reader and downloaded the GoPayment app on your device, check this article on how to set it up and use it to process payments: Set up a card reader for QuickBooks GoPayment

I'll also add these articles if you've encountered errors with the readers and QuickBooks Payments card reader features:

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions about GoPayment or anything else related to QuickBooks, @Bensonix. I'll be more than happy to answer them. Take care!
