DonorSnap and Quickbooks Integration

I keep getting this error message when I try to integrate our Quickbooks Online and DonorSnap. "Uh oh, there's a connect problem. Sorry but the app didn't connect. Please try again later or contact customer support for help." I am not really getting much help from the customer support chat either. Any thoughts on the issue?

Thanks!

Let’s rectify your concern in connecting your DonorSnap application to your QuickBooks Online (QBO), @CillaD.

The error message you encountered could have been caused by too-much cache in your browser. Thus, we can perform troubleshooting steps to get rid of it and enable you to connect the two applications trouble-free.

To start, you can open the application on a private browser, and here are the keyboard shortcuts you can use to open them:

  • Press keys: Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox & Microsoft Edge browser)
  • Press keys: Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome browser)
  • Press keys: Command + Shift + N (Safari browser)

Once done, please log in to your account to a regular browser. After that, I suggest deleting your browser cache to refresh the system. If the same thing happens, I recommend using other supported browsers. This way, we can identify if this is a browser-integrated issue.

If the same thing happens, you can consider discussing this further with our product engineering team. We have a separate forum where our customers can engage with our developer team and discuss their concerns about connecting your application to QBO.

This way, both of you with the engineering team can discuss the option and guide you with the implementation to your company file. They can also elucidate further on how the configuration of the two applications works.

Here's how:

  1. In your browser, enter this link: https://help.developer.intuit.com/s/
  2. Choose your QuickBooks product.
  3. Select the Ask a Question option.
  4. Press Sign In.
  5. Use your Intuit login credentials.
