I can share some information about processing 1099 amendments, @tiffpirrello-gma.

If you e-filed your 1099-NEC with us, you can submit amended 1099 forms through QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Contractor Payments, or QuickBooks Payroll starting February 2024. It'll be submitted using the same method as the original submission. For detailed instructions and more information about making corrections to 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC forms after you e-filed them, check out this article: Correct or change 1099s in QuickBooks.

If you've e-filed outside QuickBooks, then you may need to prepare or submit the amended 1099 form outside QuickBooks manually. You can visit this IRS website to get the form you need to make corrections for 1099-NEC: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1099nec.pdf. From there, you can enter the corrections needed as well as the instructions for the amendment.

From here, you can run the Transaction List by Vendor report to review the contractor payment transactions and accounts associated with them. You can refer to Step 3 in the following article on how to generate and customize this report: Troubleshoot missing contractors or wrong amounts on 1099s

I'm always here if you have any other questions about managing your 1099 and other year-end forms in QuickBooks. I'm always here to help. Take care, and have a good one!
