Edge Web browser opening QuickBooks promotion when logging in on Quickbooks

Hello team, 

We have a couple of customers asking of how to remove a promotion website that open itself when they login on quickbooks desktop, this is happening more on Enterprise than on the rest of editions, so does anyone knows how to remove that?

I tried to go on edit - preferences - general and turn off promotions on quickbooks desktop but that didn't work, can anyone help me? i would really appreciate it.

If turning off the preference didn't help, the best way to get rid of ads is to close them out each time. 

 

I'll pass along your feedback to our Product Developers so they can consider removing these promotions.
