I updated my customer's email address in his contact information. When I went to send my invoice to this customer, the new email address did not populate. QBO populated the email address that I used the time before. Is there a way for QBO to always populate from the customers contact information?

Hello there, @Suzanne110.

I want to ensure this matter is addressed timely so your customer's new email address populates when sending invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

For the time being, we have an ongoing issue where customers' email isn't changing after updating their contact information. Rest assured that this issue is being taken care of with utmost urgency. Hopefully, you can get back to business and manage your customers' information and sales transactions in no time.

In keeping with this, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team. They can add your account to the list of affected users. This ensures you're in the loop about the investigation's status and its fix. To do this, here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO company.
  2. Go to the Help (?) menu.
  3. Select the Search tab.
  4. Click the Contact Us button.
  5. Enter a brief description of your concern in the What can we help you with? field.
  6. Select Continue.
  7. Choose a way to connect with us (Send a message/Chat or Get a callback/Callback).

Also, you may want to check out one of our Help pages as your reference in managing your company's income and customer transactions in QBO: Sales and customers help for QuickBooks Online. It includes topics about processing payments, sales transactions, and customizing forms, to name a few.

If there's anything else you need or you have other concerns about managing customers and sales transactions in QBO, I'm always ready to help. Take care, and I wish you continued success, @Suzanne110.
