EMAIL INVOICES WITH NO LINES

I use QB Desktop Accountant 2022.  I can Print Invoices with no Lines but the Lines show up on the Invoice when I email.  How can I fix that.

I'm here to ensure you can email invoices with no lines in QuickBooks Desktop Accountant 2022, @LOCADE.


There are a couple of ways to prevent lines from showing up on emailed invoices in QBDT

 

  1. Go to Edit > Preferences > Desktop View > Company Preferences
  2. Under "Invoices", uncheck the box for "Show item details on invoices"
  3. Click "OK" to save the changes
  4. This will prevent the item lines from showing up when you email invoices, even if they are blank.

I appreciate you for coming back to the thread and clarifying the version you're using, LOCADE.

 

Please know that emailing an invoice with no lines or this won't show up on the transaction is currently unavailable. You can only perform this when printing the sales form. Let me provide an alternative way to achieve your goal.

 

For now, you can print the invoice and download it as PDF. Then, manually email the transaction to your customer. This way, you're able to send the entry with no lines.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click the File menu at the top.
  2. Choose Print Forms and then Invoices.
  3. Select the specific invoice and click OK.
  4. Choose the Print button. Then, save it as PDF.
