Email notification for Quickbooks Renewal-spam?

I received an email saying my Quickbooks Desktop is renewing and the new rate is $749 (almost double of what I paid last year).  Not sure if this is legit-it came from-have to write it with spaces, as it won't post with the email address in it:  intuit @ eq. intuit. com

If this is legit, QB can keep their product-I can't stand that they've inflated their prices and hijacked their clients.  Anyone else have this issue?

Your safety is our priority, and we'll help you check the email, jem080164.

Our emails will always come from an email address with the domain name @intuit.com. Since you've received a suspicious one, please make sure not to open or access any of the links added.

We have a website where you can report phishing emails and other security issues. You can send the information directly to our security team.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Online Security Center page.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Look for Report a fake email (or phishing email) and click on it.

I've added these resources that will help you in identifying official Intuit correspondence and websites. This way, you can keep your data secure:

Please that I'm just a comment away should you need further assistance with managing emails. Keep safe always!

@LeizylM   STOP telling customers that only legit emails will come from the domain name @intuit.com.  So do the fraudulent ones.  Especially since Intuit/ QB employees are involved in a LOT of the fraud going on.  You ever heard of Phishing?  Yeah.  Fraud!!  From something ending in @intuit.com.

It's disgusting.
