good afternoon all

keep getting this error, and don't see a 'true fix' for error 196

please guide me thru fixing that transaction

    Error 196 See Online Article
    Error: Verify Online Account Information: Invalid Customer ID number --> Record = 90.
    Details: List: 'Account', record name: '! Chase Checking'

The error occurs when there are some issues with your QuickBooks Company data. You can use the QuickBooks File Doctor to fix your company file.

 

Once done, ensure that your QuickBooks Desktop is updated to the latest release.

have done this a few times and error code 196 still their and runs rebuild does not help

Which QB Desktop year version do you run?

How big is your file size?

I'm having the same issue.  I'm running QB Desktop Pro 2020.  My file size is 176MB
