error code 80040154

Hello all, I've downloaded a QuickBooks Payment Gateway from a 3rd party app.  While downloading I get the error code 80040154.  This pops up 3 times.  Then I get a message the app was successfully installed and it opens QB.  I should get a certificate to agree to but it does not come up and the application is not integrated.  I have downloaded qbfcinstaller.  I have installed, uninstalled, re-booted you name it.  No one at QB customer support can help me.  Any suggestions from the community?  I'm using QB desktop 22 Pro.

Thank you for coming to the Community about the error you received. I know you've gone through multiple steps to try to resolve it, but I think it's best to consult the third-party app provider so they can check this further for you.

 

Our QuickBooks Support team can only resolve or investigate issues further within our software.

I have spent hours and hours and the phone with the app people.  The issue is the error code is a QB error code not an app error code.

Has anybody found a solution to this issue?  Is QB going to address or just blow it off?
