ERROR - Unable to Register Push Notifications

Hi,

 

Does anyone know why it's not letting me activate push notifications in the QuickBooks self employed android app?

 

I'm getting the following message.

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Please ensure that the QuickBooks Self-Employed app has the necessary permissions to send notifications on your device, Ashley. You can check this by going to your device settings.
 

If you have verified that your QBSE app has allowed you to send notifications and the error persists, you can reset or clear the cache to help refresh your app. Here's how:
 

  1. Go to your device Settings.
  2. Tap on Apps.
  3. Find and select the QuickBooks Self-Employed app from the list.
  4. Hit on Storage.
  5. Select Clear Data.
     

We can also uninstall and reinstall the app to remove any potential glitches or corrupted files that may cause the notification problem.
