ERROR W9

Hi How are you? My contractor is trying to sign W9 and the page just keeps loading asking to wait and we've been waiting for 1 hour. I've been trying for days
I already got via chat, and sent it to 2 different e-mails that my contractor has, on a separate Google page and my contractor tried on different computers.

I have some troubleshooting steps that will help your contractors in signing their W-9.

 

If the invitation link you've sent to your contractor doesn't seem to go anywhere or has expired, you can resend the invitation by following these steps:

 

  1. Go to the Payroll menu and select Contractors.
  2. Select the contractor's name.
  3. Click on the hyperlink Send a reminder.

You can also allow your contractors to use a private browser to access the link they received in their email. Since browsers may occasionally store outdated and corrupted temporary internet files, which can result in unusual behavior or the page simply failing to load for no apparent reason.

Depending on the browser, use the keyboard shortcut listed below to open one:

 

  • Ctrl + Shift + N ( For Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (For Firefox)
  • Command + Shift + N (For Safari)
