There used to be an Expiration Field in the Estimates form, now there is not. When I look in forms, it shows an expiration date, and I can toggle it on and off, but it won't show on the estimate form. Any ideas?

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concern about the missing Expiration Field in your Estimates form, jcallanan. I understand how important it is to have all the necessary fields available for your estimates.

Just a heads-up, the hyperlink you shared was removed by one of our moderators, as it includes an email address in the screen recording. In the future, please submit a screenshot or screen recording that doesn't contain personal information for security purposes. I appreciate your understanding.

Regarding the Expiration Date field, it's possible that recent updates to QuickBooks Online have impacted the visibility of certain features. Here's how we can troubleshoot this:

Step 1: Toggle the Expiration Date field

Since you mentioned that you can toggle the expiration date on and off, let's ensure its enabled by following these steps:

  1. Go to the +New button and click Estimate
  2. Click the Manage button next to the Take Tour button.
  3. From the Customization dropdown, ensure the expiration date option is toggled on.

Step 2: Use a Private Browser

Sometimes, cached data can interfere with how features display. Try accessing QuickBooks in a private browser:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Step 3: Clear Browser Cache: If the issue persists, clearing your browser's cache and cookies or trying a different browser can help.

If the expiration date field still doesn't appear after these steps, it's possible that this change is part of a recent update. I recommend contacting QuickBooks Online Support directly, as they would have the latest information about any changes to features and can help resolved this issue swiftly.
