Estimate memo field caps?

Why does the estimate memo field institute an initial cap on each word? I tried to write a message to my customer and when I do “It Looks Like This.”

I’ve found so many little things like this since the latest update and it’s very frustrating.

Hello there! We understand how frustrating it can be when you encounter difficulties with tracking and recording transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO) due to runtime issues. We want to help you resolve this matter as soon as possible.

Normally, the estimate memo field should not capitalize the first letter of each word. I have tested it on my end and was able to do it without any capitalization. However, QuickBooks may sometimes exhibit strange behavior or experience performance issues caused by browser problems.

To isolate the issue, let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps. You can start by using an incognito window or a private browser to verify if you can see the estimate memo field caps. Here are the keyboard shortcuts for different browsers:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Sh

Then, return to your regular browser and clear your browser's history to start fresh if you can't see the estimate memo field caps. We also recommend using a different supported browser because the QuickBooks version you're using now may have a temporary problem.
