Estimates Suggestion tab

Where did the link to add an estimate to an open invoice disappear to?  Previously we could add an estimate to an existing invoice by the Suggestion tab and this morning that tab has disappeared.  I don't want to add a small estimate as a seperate invoice and I don't want to lose track of work that has been completed if I don't use the tab.

If you're referring to the Smart Suggestions feature, this is only available when using an Advanced subscription. I'd initially recommend confirming you're using this type of account plan.

 

Here's how:
 

  1. Sign in as a primary or company admin.
  2. Use your Gear icon, then go to Subscriptions and billing.
  3. Review which plan you're using.

 

If you need to upgrade:
 

  1. Confirm the payment details are up-to-date.
  2. In your QuickBooks Online section, click Upgrade your plan.
  3. Review the available plans and select Choose plan.
  4. Follow your on-screen steps to upgrade the subscription.

 

In the event you're already using an Advanced subscription, but your Smart Suggestions feature isn't working as it should, I'd initially recommend troubleshooting the browser you're using and confirming you meet each of our system requirements.

 

If it continues happening after troubleshooting, you'll want to get in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research with you, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.
