Question

Filed 1099's. I could view them. Then recieved an email saying IRS declined due to "inaccurate company info". I followed directions. Voided filing. Need help cant refile

Spoke to my CPA; they searched QBO community posting and simply said "you have to call QBO". Of course they're closed until Monday. Help

As much as I would love to help resolve your concern, it's best to let me route you to the right team to assist you further on this to ensure you can refile as soon as possible. 

 

I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Payroll Team. They're the best support group for such inquiries as they can request account information. This allows them to verify the reason why you're unable to file the 1099 again after modifying inaccurate company information, which leads the IRS to reject the filing. 

 

Beforehand, please know that they're open Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM PT for Online Payroll Core users. Then, any time, any day for Payroll Premium and Elite. 

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to Help (?).
  3. Select Contact Us.
  4. Enter your concern about 1099 filing, then select Let's talk.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us.
