Flipping through Customer Invoices

In desktop, you could go to a Customer and all their invoices would be listed in a side bar, you could just click in the sidebar and go from one invoice to the next. In QBO, is there a way to do this? There are the left and right arrows on either side of the invoice number, but when you click one, it goes to the next numerical invoice, not the next invoice for that particular customer. I frequently need to access previous invoices and it's such a pain finding that ONE invoice in a sea of invoices. Search function is absolutely useless, it hardly ever finds what I am looking for.

Hello, Adlas. Currently, QuickBooks Online (QBO) does not offer a sidebar option like QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). However, I have a workaround suggestion for you.

Please keep in mind that QBDT and QBO are different programs, each with its pros and cons.

To address your concern, you can filter the customer profile by setting the Type to Invoices. This will allow you to view and manage invoices directly within the customer's profile. Please refer to the image below as a visual reference.

Additionally, you can send statements to show customers summaries of their invoices, payments, credits, and balances.

If you have further questions about invoices in QBO, please return to this thread, Adlas. We're here to help in any way we can.

That's not an efficient solution. You click an invoice, it takes it's time to open in the same window, it's not the one you were looking for, you close it, THEN you have to remember which invoice you just opened up so you can go to the next. Repeat the cycle and you'll spend your whole life looking for the one particular invoice. On desktop, I can sift through a clients invoice's and find a specific one within a few minutes, I spent an hour yesterday combing through a client's invoices and never found the one I was looking for.
