Forward Stripe Connect Invoices to Quickbooks Online email address for aggregation and payouts

Hey all,

I'm looking into some insight for Stripe invoice forwarding to Quickbooks.

The scenario is this:

  • Company A is using Quickbooks, and employs Contractors to deliver a service to Clients
  • Contractors use the platform of Company B (me!) to deliver the service to Clients
  • The Contractors send an invoice to Company A to pay for their services with Clients
    • Normally these invoices are meant for Clients, but Company A is willing to foot the bill for them
  • Each Contractor has their own Stripe Connect account in Company B's platform to create invoices

Ultimately, Company A wants to be able to aggregate all the invoices and pay the Contractors out once a month through Quickbooks.

I read that you can email receipts and bills to Quickbooks online. My questions are:

  • Does Quickbooks Online handle Stripe invoices being emailed to the Quickbook address?
  • Can emails not associated with a Quickbooks user be used to forward invoices to the Quickbook address?
  • Will Company A need to add the user and give them permission to forward invoices?
  • Is there a better way to do this via Zapier or something else?

Let me know if you need more information or something is confusing!

So Company A needs a solution to receive bills in their mailbox from Company B and convert data from Stripe Invoice automatically to integrate with QBO?

Hi there, @gogozvc.

want to ensure your concerns about forwarding the stripe invoice get sorted out. Let me assist you with your concerns one at a time.

Regarding handling QuickBooks Online to handle Stripe invoices being emailed to QuickBooks Address, it's best to reach out to the Stripe Customer Care Support Team. They'll be able to check the settings if they can handle these transactions.

Here's how to get their contact details:

  1. Go to Apps from the left pane.
  2. Enter Stripe from the search tab.
  3. Scroll down to see the information.

If you have receipts, you can email them to QuickBooks, you can read more information about it from this article: Email receipts and bills to QuickBooks Online.

With regards to Company A, yes, they can add the user and permit them to forward invoices. They'll just have to check a user role that can forward the invoice.

Lastly, you can also ask for further information about the process with the Zapier Support Team. They'll be able to discuss with you and guide you further with this matter. You can find their contact information on their page or website.

On top of that, I have an article that will help you account for your customer payments: Receive invoice payment.

Please let me know if you need clarification about managing invoices, or if there's anything else I can do for you. I'll be standing by for your response. Have a great day, and stay safe.
