Getting Started
Good morning, a few months ago my VFW Post (non-profit) named me Assistant Quartermaster. The QM is really the one who does the basic bookkeeping and some basic accounting. I will be elected to the QM position and take over in June. We decided to go with QB Online to get automated. We have not done anything other that register it and identify users at this point as the current QM is not computer savvy. Since I will be taking over, I want to see if there are some good either free or relatively inexpensive training courses I can take over the next two months to better get myself ready to get QB Online setup right and I can start using it effectively when I take over. I have the info to set up the on-line banking, but since I am not yet on the accounts I have not done anything with that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
