Hey there, Louann. I'm here to share some information regarding the 1099 corrections.

In QuickBooks, e-filing the corrected 1099 NEC is unavailable at the moment. This feature will be available sometime after January 2024. Thus, you have two options to select from when you submit your updated forms. First, you can wait for the IRS to send you the form that was denied or rejected. You can void the rejected forms and submit them using QuickBooks as soon as you receive them. You can refer to this material to learn more: Fix rejected 1099 forms.

The second option is to manually complete, print and submit the updated 1099-NEC to the IRS. You may visit the IRS website or get in touch with them to learn more about what to do with your form if you submit it manually.

I'll leave this guide for you to view in case you'd want to print your 1099 forms as you file your corrected forms manually: Print your 1099 and 1096 forms
