Can we have an alert in case a customer left without paying and comes back months later

I see that you'd like to have an alert system in place to notify you if a customer leaves without paying and returns months later, @dalevillage.

 

This is a valuable consideration, and I'm here to discuss how we can address this to enhance our service. While it's currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online, we're actively looking into ways to implement such a feature in the future.

 

To ensure it receives attention from our product engineers, I suggest using the feedback option, enabling us to enhance the program's features accordingly.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Click Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. 
  4. Then select Next to submit feedback.

 

Moreover, you can also apply late fees to overdue invoices to encourage your customers to pay on time. You set the fee amount and when to implement it to the invoices. Then, let QuickBooks calculate the late fees and automatically apply them to overdue invoices as a line item.
