Help button ? not working

Quickbooks online

The ? Help button opens up a box that says it can't help right now and to try the community. This button has been giving the same message for days. Noting in the community about the problem.

On the other hand, as I checked our records, there have been no reported cases of other customers experiencing the same problem. We can narrow it down by performing basic troubleshooting to refresh your QBO account.

 

To begin, log in to your QBO account via incognito mode or a private window. This way, it confirms if the cache is the cause.

 

Here's how:

 

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

 

Once logged in, try to open the Help button again. If it works, go to your default browser and clear the cache. See Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online for more information. 

 

Otherwise, switch to a different browser like Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari. The one you are currently on may be having a temporary issue with QuickBooks, and using a new browser for the moment will allow you to get back to work.

I use Chrome Incognito gave the same results. Tried Edge same results. This is the message:

I’m having some technical difficulties right now
But we probably have an article that can help you!

I'm experiencing a very similar issue. My "Help" widget/module hasn't opened for me in months.

 

The error says:

Something went wrong
Try refreshing the page.

 

I usually use Chrome. I tried Chrome incognito -- still broken. I also tried Firefox. still broken.
