Hi all,Converting PDF's to qbo. When uploading, some of the transactions are placed in the "Categorized" section, the rest are in the "For review" section. There's more.

When I try to "undo" transactions from the "categorized" section, those transactions are put into the "For review" section but also mess with the registry. What to do....

I can help you with your concern about bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. Since you manually uploaded the following transaction to your company file. One of the reasons could be that you have set up a bank rule to your QBO that matches the transactions you uploaded.

 

If you set up a bank rule, transactions that match its description will automatically be categorized. You’ll want to verify this one to see if it’s the one causing this matter. Here’s how:

 

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Navigate to the Rules tab.
  3. From there, check the rules available to see if it’s causing the transaction to be automatically categorized.

Moreover, if the transactions have been categorized. This will be posted or added to your bank register. That is why you’re seeing this in your register. However, if you undo this from the categorized transactions in banking feeds. This will be automatically taken out from the register.
