Glad to see you here in the Community, @thestudiofairfie.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), we're unable to get the actual form. Though, we can pull up the 1099 Transaction Detail Report and filter it to view the following:

  • 1099 contractors that meet the threshold
  • 1099 contractors below the threshold
  • Contractors now marked for 1099

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. On the search bar, type 1099 Transaction Detail Report.
  3. Select the Customize button.
  4. Click the Filter drop-down arrow, select the box next to Type of Contractors and choose from the list.
  5. Select Run report.

We can also get copies of your 1099's if you've filed them through our 1099 E-file service. I'll guide you how:

  1. Log in to your 1099 E-file Service account
  2. Under step 2, click Download and print copies for your records
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions until you reach the Download You 1099 Forms screen.
  4. Select to either Print For Contractors or Print For Your Records.
