how can i close out the gps window with no "X" visible on the top right corner?

2. To zoom out, press Ctrl and - (minus key)
3. To Reset zoom, press Ctrl and 0 (zero key)

For Mac: 

To zoom in, press Command and + (plus key)
To zoom out, press Command and - ( minus key)
To Reset zoom, press Command and 0 (zero key)


 

However, if you are talking about a pop-up within your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account,  you can hover or move the cursor to the top right corner of the window and find the X button to close it.
