How can I delete the extra company added by mistake?After logging in we have two. Haven't been able to figure it out yet.Thanks

Welcome to the Community, Kfruppe. I am here to help you in deleting a company in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

We need to ensure that you've selected the correct company you want to delete and read the prompt messages before clicking the options. 

Moreover, we need to take note that we can only delete canceled accounts.

 

Here's how:

 

  1.  Go to the Gear icon and select Switch company.
  2.  Click the ellipsis icon (︙) of the company you want to delete, then click Delete. 
  3. You'll be then routed to Data & Privacy page. 
  4. Under the Data & Privacy, choose Delete, then Make a delete request, and Continue.
  5. Tick the box of the name of the company you wanted to delete and choose Continue.
  6. Check the box that says, "I understand what'll happen after my data is deleted and I want to send this request" then choose Delete this data. 

 

 

By doing this, you'll be requesting to delete a company. And as I've mentioned, we need to carefully select the account which needs to be deleted.
