How can I print the complete Item on a purchase order. My purchase orders only show the main item, if it doesn't have a sub-item associated. And it just prints the sub-item only and doesn't show the main item when I email or print it out.

IE:

1067 - Shaft

1067:001 - Shaft Collar

Hello there, dvincenzo.

Glad to have you back. I also appreciate you for including screenshots.

You've got it right. When printing the items, only the sub items will show. I see how beneficial to get or display all the items added from the purchase order (PO) you've created.

Thanks for asking us here in the Community today, @Dvincenzo2. I want to help ensure you're able to print the complete item on a purchase order.

We can change the layouts of your PO template you want to display. Here's how:

  1. In the Create Purchase Orders window, you will see that there is a TEMPLATE field.
  2. Go to the Formatting tab and click Manage Templates.
  3. In the Manage Templates window, highlight the template we want to edit and click OK.
  4. In the Basic Customization window, click the Layout Designer button.
  5. Adjust the column widths, then click OK. Click OK again until you get back to the Create Purchase Order window.

You can also check out this article for more insights: Use and customize form templates.

For future reference, you can also use the purchase order management worksheet in case you'll need to change and track the status of purchase orders.

Feel free to get back to us if you need additional assistance. I'd be here to be your guide. Have a great day!

Thank you but I have attached the difference that I am referring to as it is not a matter of space.
