Nice to have you in the Community, @arkvalleyinfo. I can lend a hand with viewing Vendor information.

QuickBooks Online has the Vendor Contact List report which can be customized to include EIN information. Here's how:

  1. Select Reports on the left navigation menu.
  2. Enter Vendor Contact List in the Reports search box and click on the report.
  3. Select the small Gear icon that's on the report.
  4. Click Show More and place a check-mark next to TAX ID.
  5. Select outside of the box.

The following is a brief video to serve as an example of this:

Additionally, I recommend the following article for reporting: Available Reports in QuickBooks Online.

That's it. I'm confident this report will get you where you need to be.

Should you have any questions or need anything, please let me know by posting below. Have a great day.

I get a link on the report for each vendor where their Tax id is and not their actual EIN number.  How can i get their number in place of the link?

Hi there, hrain.

To obtain your vendor's actual EIN, you'll need to click the link provided. This link will direct you to your vendor's profile. Once there, follow these steps to update the Tax ID to their actual EIN:

1. Click on the Edit button.

2. Below Business I.D No/Social Security No., select View/Edit Business ID.

3. You'll receive a verification code on your phone for security purposes, or you'll be asked to log in for verification.

4. Finally, enter the vendor's EIN in the provided field.

For future reference, here's an article that can help you with your 1099 reports that shows who needs 1099s, payment totals, and more: Create 1099 reports in QuickBooks.
