How can I send a 1099 to a contractor via email who claimed they didn't get it?

Thanks for posting your concern, info-unitedskill. Let me share information about 1099s in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and route you to our support if necessary.

 

When you've submitted your 1099s electronically through QBO, your contractor will receive a notification via email. Thus, kindly route your contractor to their email spam folder to see if the sent email is there. Also, please let them check for a mail tracking number.

 

If none, I recommend contacting our Payroll Customer Care. They're well-equipped to review this matter and provide immediate resolution.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Click (?) Help.
  3. Select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a call back from the next available expert.
