Let me get the help you need in printing 1099 forms so you can send them to your vendors.
If you've e-filed 1099s through QuickBooks Online and the IRS receives your forms, your customers will receive a confirmation email approximately a week after the IRS accepts and confirms submissions to view their forms. Please know that you may not receive this confirmation until the middle of January or later.
If you'd like to print already e-filed 1099s, here's what you'll need to do:
In the left menu, click Taxes.
Choose 1099 filings.
Select View 1099 to view a PDF copy.
If you don't see the archived or previously filed 1099, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team to get a copy.
However, if you didn't e-file your 1099s with Intuit, you can purchase your 1099 Kit by mid-January so you can print. Then, follow these steps:
In the left menu, click Payroll.
Choose Contractors.
Select Prepare 1099s to create your 1099s.
When complete, choose the Print and mail instead option.
Follow the on-screen steps to check your alignment and print your forms.
For future reference, here's a great resource to help you close out your current year and prepare for the new year in QuickBooks with your accountant: Year-end guide for QuickBooks Online.
Fill me in if you have other 1099 concerns or questions. I'll get back to help and make sure you're taken care of.
